Our work went mobile. Our workplace was left behind.
As remote work became more common, we saw the same pattern over and over again: people could work from anywhere, but they made do with a single small laptop screen, a cluttered desk, and constantly shifting windows. They had the freedom, but not the big-picture view.
In 2022, that quest, which began in Didam, was given a name: Screenmate. Not out of a desire to offer as many monitors as possible, but to find the right mobile workstations—products that are easy to carry, function intuitively, feel sturdy, and provide visual calm. In this way, Screenmate grew into a Dutch brand that brings together technology, portability, and thoughtful design.
